Control Room Mixing

Electric City Sound’s studio facility was designed by world renowned Westlake Audio (See Westlake Recording Studios for more info on Westlake Audio).

The studio features near-silent acoustically correct isolation rooms, a comfortable and creative atmosphere, and some of the finest vintage and modern boutique equipment available.

We are equipped to record 24 off the floor simultaneously, digitally, to tape, or a combination of both at the same time! All tape tracks are dumped in real time back to the DAW ready for digital editing on the fly. This is a set up like no other. You get all the phat and none of the hassle.

STUDIO FEATURES

– 8x Vintage Calrec UA 8000 “Polar” pre amps (from the famous Polar desk at ABBA’s studio, considered one of the best sounding consoles ever made)
– 2x Fink Audio Putnam 610 type Tube pre ( Boutique pres using the identical circuit design to the famous putnam 610 hand made in the United States by veteran URIE design engineer Denis Fink)
